Calm,cloudy beach, light breeze from SW. Few seagulls in distance. Crab parts, shells and pebbles at drift line, We did pick up some bottle rocket, roman candle debris, otherwise clean beach.
This survey was all about the jelly fish that covered the most recent wrack areas. The jelly fish were found on the entire 4.5 mile spit. This was our first survey since the beach restrictions were lifted. During nesting season, dogs are prohibited even on leash. We feel guilty leaving...
Calm, low tide. Hazy air from local controlled burns. Quiet Thursday for Harris Beach. Really not much to report. Debris was minimal, I expected more since the Bomb Cyclone was just last week.
